This Privacy Policy explains how Sensorly (“Sensorly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and image-to-video generation service (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
• Content you provide. Images you upload and text prompts you submit, along with the video output generated from them.
• Usage data. Information about how you interact with the Service, such as generation counts, credit balance, and pages visited.
• Session data. Authentication tokens stored in cookies so you stay signed in between visits.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and provide the features of the Service, including generating video from your prompts and images.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Track and enforce credit limits tied to your plan.
• Respond to support requests.
• Improve the Service and understand how it’s used in aggregate.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

4. AI Processing of Your Content

Images and prompts you submit are processed to produce generated video output. We do not use your uploaded content to train models shared with other users or third parties. Generated output is stored on your account so you can revisit it in your threads and gallery, and is not made public unless you explicitly choose to share it.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure, database, and authentication (currently Supabase), and, if you subscribe to a paid plan, a payment processor to handle billing.
• Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sensorly, our users, or others.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a materially similar one.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your threads or reset your account from Settings, that content is permanently removed from our production database. If you delete your account entirely, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can:

• Update your display name and notification preferences in Settings.
• Clear all threads, generations, and credits from the Settings page.
• Contact us at the email below to request a copy of your data or full account deletion.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Users between the ages of 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that use. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and row-level access controls on our database, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States and Canada. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by email.
